The MEYER-MAYOR TROPHY is not a public event. Once a pilot signs his entry, he expressly assumes personal responsibility for his materials and passengers, as well as towards third parties. MEYER-MAYOR and its designated competition staff will not assume any liability for any damage and loss caused by competitors in connection with the event. Any pilot who is responsible for a competing balloon will waiver any liability claims against MEYER-MAYOR and its designated competition staff. He will keep MEYER-MAYOR indemnified against any damages claimed by any third parties for any damage or loss caused by himself alone or jointly with others if they are not covered by an insurance policy.
