The MEYER-MAYOR BALLOON TROPHY is a FLY-IN to Neu St. Johann in the Toggenburg and takes place annually. The Toggenburg is a valley on the upper reaches of the River Thur and is situated in the Canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. The balloon fabric manufacturer MEYER-MAYOR is looking forward to welcoming as many balloon teams as possible in the Toggenburg.
2012 the MEYER-MAYOR BALLOON TROPHY will take place during the 56th Cpoupe Aéronatique Gordon Bennett at Ebnat-Kappel.

History
A Swiss textile
company is on course towards the future. The Meyer family were textile
manufacturers and merchants in the Dagmersellen/Reiden/Zofingen area from 1830
onwards. In 1916, Eduard Meyer-Mayor split up from his brother Hans and took
over the weaving mill that had been established in 1857 in Neu St. Johann in the
Toggenburg. Since 1988, André Meyer-Graf has run the firm as the sole owner.
